CSE is a national leader in university-based "sustainability science." We focus our programs on addressing two critical issues challenging the survival of humanity and other species on this planet:

Children’s Action Alliance is a non-profit, non-partisan research, education and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of Arizona’s children and families.

The nonpartisan Clean Elections Institute is the premier state-based advocate for public campaign financing. Since the passage of Clean Elections Act in 1998, we have been on defending it in court and at the Legislature, overseeing implementation, training candidates, and informing the public. We provide information, support, and counsel to activists in states and cities all over the country, as well as at the national level. Without us, Clean Elections would not have survived or succeeded, spread to other states, or gone national.

Morrison Institute for Public Policy bridges the gap between academic scholarship and public policy development through its services to public and private sector clients and its independent research agenda. Morrison Institute provides services in the areas of public policy research, program evaluation, and public outreach to many types of public and private organizations in Arizona and throughout the United States.

Our passion is to shape a North American West with healthy landscapes vibrant with human and wildlife populations living in harmony with the environment. It is a land in which robust local and regional economies are new models of collaborative efforts, which will guarantee a future of clean energy and water, fresh air, and a dedication to the positive interdependence of people and nature.

Established in 1987, the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy sponsors policy-relevant, interdisciplinary research and forums that link scholarship and education with decisionmaking.
